Tests have shown that in a typical professional kitchen, a chiller or freezer door maybe opened and closed more than 100 times in a working day. This means that the chiller or freezer must be able to maintain a correct and uniform temperature throughout the cabinet and highlights the need for low-energy products that have the ability for saving energy over their cheaper rivals, whilst allowing for fast cool down after the door has been closed so that the chiller or freezer reaches its operating temperature quickly with an efficient air distribution system.
